THE TASTELESS SOUP
There are a lot of small things which we don't pay attention to in our day to day life.
We can learn a lot from them if we are able to observe them carefully. From years you have been developing some habits knowingly or unknowingly which are not good for you. The worst part of them is that you don't even know that how they can turn your cards against you.
We all know that " Action speaks louder than words". but how well can we relate this with our lives. Let's take an example.
Suppose, You want to know about someone without having any conversation with them.
"WHAT FACTORS WILL YOU TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION??".
Especially, when the person is sitting Right in Front of You and You Don't have any kind of information regarding them..Guys, the first thing you gonna observe is his body language. Yes, my dear friends. Your body language speaks a lot about you. No wonder why we are told that whenever we face any interview some small things do matter a lot.
Like the way you knock the door, the way you Enter the Room and the Most Important is the Way You Hold Your Posture While answering them.
Obviously, We Can Nowhere take such things lightly as they can turn out to be the DECIDING FACTOR.
Hmm, So You Have now Got a Brief Idea of What I m Trying to Convey You All .
Well, Let me tell you a story!!
I m sure that this will definitely make You Aware that
How Come Small HABITS change your FATE.
Okay, Now let’s get started. There was a Man Named JACK. He was running his company Successfully. He used to have
a Lot of Work to manage by himself and This made him Feel For the need of an Assistant for his company.
So, One Day he arranged an Interview. He was known for his Unique Style of conducting the Interview. He used to
call the Candidates for a Lunch First and then Decide Whether They Would be called for the Interview OR Not!!
It was getting very Tough for him to Find the Suitable candidate for his Company.
So, One Day his Manager Decided to accompany him for the Lunch to actually know that why it was taking so much time to hire the candidate for the post. The Day was Finalised and the Table was Booked for the Lunch.
As per the instructions the Candidate arrived at the Hotel in Time and was waiting to Meet them. As soon as Jack came with his manager he greeted them with a smile and introduced himself to them. The conversation went Good between them.
For the starters SOUP was ordered. Soon, they finished their Lunch. While Leaving JACK told the candidate that he would be informed if required.
The candidate was confused as it was not a satisfactory response. He tried his best to make himself presentable for the Lunch.
Seeing all this even the Manager was a bit confused. Later, While going back the Manager Hesitatingly asked," Sir, How Did You Judge the performance of the Candidate here?".
JACK told that the SOUP was the Deciding factor here. The Manager was still confused. JACK understood this and he tried to explain him further.
He said," When we ordered the SOUP,I observed that the candidate added the Salt and Pepper into the Soup without tasting it. That Itself said a lot about his character. He should have tasted the Soup First and then add the amount of Salt and Pepper required accordingly. It gave me an Instinct about his Character and the way he would handle my important Deals. He would have not cared to respond the Client's feedback as he would never be interested to know the actual Problem. Such a kind of Attitude and Behaviour could not be accepted as it could Hamper the Growth of the Company and the Organisation.
Hearing all this the Manager was surprised and he asked in a Low voice," Sir, Do such small things matter so much ?". JACK replied ,"Yes, they do matter a lot".
You see in Life, that sometimes even a small mistake or a HABIT which we form unknowingly can cost us so much. To avoid this we must be very careful and Aware about the things which we try to bring into our Daily Life routine. You never know, Which can go in your Favour or Against You. . HABITS are mainly non-motivational. Anything repeated GOOD or BAD becomes a HABIT.
